Just came across the article there now,

A great opportunity, a great ethos and vision. I personally would like to wish all involved those who made it happen and those that stepped up. Best wishes and every success to all the startups.

StartVI sowed the seeds of tech entrepreneurship, showing people out there that there is another way. Now with the right economic weather and some watering from good revenue streams the ventures will grow big, strong and healthy, hopefully lasting a century and employ thousands.

It sounds very promising, maybe too good to be true! it is hard to find so great ideas than can make millions. We all think that we can do things better than others, but we almost always fail to deliver.

I quite like the basecamp pricing method. They always offer the same features, but with different numerical limits, you pay more you get more users, more space, more projects etc for Basecamp. They also offer an extremely limit package to let people test their product, and allow anytime upgrade or downgrade of packages, as you pay on a monthly timescale
